Pario Solutions Hosts Push-to-Talk (PoC) Solution for M3 Wireless
M3 Successfully Launches PoC throughout Bermuda
Lutz, Florida—Pario Solutions, Inc., a hosted mobile solutions provider, announced today that they are hosting Push-to-Talk services (PoC) for M3 Wireless Ltd., the premier Bermudian wireless provider, enabling them to successfully deliver a new revenue generating service throughout the island. Although currently in trial phase, many of M3’s business clients have expressed interest in adding Push-to-Talk to their subscriber plans.
Pario's hosted PoC solution is based on Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) standards, giving M3 the opportunity to introduce interoperable PoC services that span internationally across devices, networks and geographies. Additionally, the IP based technology is spectrum efficient, using the networks’ resources only during call bursts. “We were especially pleased to provide a spectrum efficient OMA solution to M3,” said James O’Reilly, VP of Business Development at Pario, “because it enables them to compete by delivering a superior PoC service across Bermuda. And because Pario provides a hosted solution, M3 had the opportunity to “test drive” Push-to-Talk without expensive capital costs.”
M3 Wireless is pleased to be the first carrier west of the Atlantic to join the increasing number of operators worldwide that are adopting Nokia's innovative PoC solution. The PoC solution brings an easy and instant form of communication to M3’s customers and adds another solid service to the company’s arsenal. “M3’s corporate customers have responded enthusiastically to the Push-To-Talk service as a reliable offering and also for its ease of use,” said Lloyd Fray, CEO of M3 Wireless.
In addition to hosting the PoC service, Pario assisted with project management and implementation and continues to act as a consultant. “When we were looking for a Push-To-Talk solution it only made sense for us to build on the strength of our long-standing relationship with Pario,” said Mr. Fray.
