Pario Solutions Hosts Mobile Services for Kaplan Telephone Company

Eatontown, NJ–Pario Solutions, Inc. a Hosted Mobile Service provider for operators in the United States, Canada, Bermuda and the Caribbean announced today that they have successfully launched hosted mobile voice and data services for Kaplan Telephone Company (KTC), of Kaplan, Louisiana. Pario provided equipment, installation, commissioning and integration to build out Kaplan’s cellular network and currently provides hosted GSM voice switching, GPRS, and EDGE services enabling KTC to offer voice and high speed data services to their subscribers. Under the multi year hosting agreement, Pario will continue to provide software upgrades and support for Kaplan’s cellular network.

“Pario and Kaplan have worked extremely well together to turn up a network that was previously hosted by a national GSM carrier,” said James O’Reilly, VP of Business Development at Pario Solutions. “Pario Solutions installed a Media Gateway, Base Station Controller and Transcoder in Kaplan and integrated them back into the Pario Solutions’ Core Network in Dallas, Texas. Pario also worked with outside vendors such as Data Side, VeriSign, Intrado, InterOp, Bell South, AT&T, and BroadWing for connectivity and services back to Dallas for Kaplan’s billing, E911, data and voice services. In order to ensure a seamless cutover, Pario & KTC tested all incoming and outgoing traffic handovers from Kaplan to other carriers. Pario also tested down to the cell site sector level including all data fills in the Home Location Register, Mobile Switching Center and Base Station Controller.”
